My Story
I loved digging into literature and writing classes in college. During my MA, I focused on Plains authors with stories that bore a shared experience to my Iowa farm-girl roots.
My favorite punctuation marks are the em dash and the semicolon, and I have a strong aversion to passive-voice sentence construction. In my free time, I love to read and play Words with Friends (nerdy, I know). When the Minnesota weather allows, I run with my dog - an English Coonhound, Tucker; I taught him the “no bark” command, which means that I have incredible superpowers. (If you have a hound, you’ll get that.)
