Meet Nicole
Greetings! I have a BA in English from Iowa State University and an MA in English from the University of Nebraska - Omaha. I have corporate technical writing/editing and management experience. When I worked in the corporate world as a Technical Writer, I enjoyed the back-and-forth negotiations and learning that came from the writer/editor relationship. Some of my best growth came from working with an editor. More recently, I’ve focused my attention on the nonprofit arena doing grant writing for schools and other nonprofits.
Right after finishing my internship in college, I accepted their offer to edit a project - a book about earthworms! Eventually, the side work I was doing as a writer and editor became too much to manage on the side, and, in 2018, I took a leap of faith and made my side gig a full-time business!
